Our Team
Our goal is to help others provide quality supervision and resources that help foster the growth and success of high quality therapists, counselors, and supervisors.
Kristi Beroldi, LPC
Kristi has been an independent licensed practitioner since 2019 and a board-approved clinical supervisor since 2021. Kristi utilizes her plethora of clinical experiences in community-based mental health, outpatient care within large organizations, private practice, and education and support as an employee assistance provider to inform her supervision technique and style. Kristi has been passionate about clinician education and resident training since 2018, when she started supervising Qualified Mental Health Professionals at a community-based agency due to increased need and lack of staff.
Kristi has supported seven clinicians in obtaining their independent license to practice from 2021 to 2023. The idea for Supervision Excellence came from many discussions pertaining to improving existing residency programs within two separate organizations where she was working and how to increase the education and caliber of residents hired by those companies, and her own experience taking on her first resident in 2021. She quickly noted that not all 20 hour CEU supervisor trainings are created equal and that there was limited support for first-time supervisors following the completion of the training in terms of the practicalities of supervising a resident in the day-to-day. Thus, the Supervision Excellence Toolkit was born. She is super excited you are here and wants to help you feel empowered in this next step of your career.
Megan Davidson, LPC
Megan has a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lynchburg College and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology with Honors from Randolph College. Megan has worked in a wide array of settings from inpatient to outpatient and feels that these experiences help her to meet her clients where they are and to be actively non-judgmental.
Megan has a passion for supervision and ethical care. She looked for a program exactly like this when she finished her supervision training in 2019 and found there wasn’t anything. She has always loved teaching interns and residents and helping to shape the minds of future counselors.
Her goals for supervision are to meet the resident or intern where they are. Begin to identify what needs they have to be a well rounded provider and work to get them there prior to becoming a counselor themselves. She believes that supervisors are the gate keepers to the counseling arena and should prepare therapists as such. She also helps to run a group practice to continue to foster these ideas in future counselors.
Outside of the counseling realm, Megan enjoys running, yoga, and hanging out with her family.
